This year Esquimalt United Church will be collecting donations for Esquimalt Neighbourhood House and Rainbow Kitchen. As we are all very much aware 2023 has seen a big increase in the cost of living, making life very difficult for those with limited means. There will be a box in the sanctuary for donations which will be distributed to these two very worthy community organizations the week before Christmas. Please consider helping if you are able to contribute and brighten someone’s Christmas day and beyond. Thank you.
Suggested items for Neighbourhood House: non-perishable food items, disposable diapers (esp. baby sizes), socks, toiletries, gift cards for Country Grocer, Pharmasave, Shoppers Drug Mart,Esquimalt Rec Centre tickets or passes for lonely seniors, and Christmas items.
Suggested items for Rainbow Kitchen: toothpaste and toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and other toiletries, bandaids, non - perishable food items, bus tickets, socks, mittens, Lysol wipes, cat and dog food, Christmas gifts. (Download detailed list below.)
